University of Houston
The University of Houston Football Operations Center was a project to slingshot the UH Cougars into the conversation in the BIG12. With nearly 120,00sf of dedicated player and coaching spaces, this West endzone expansion puts UH on the map for recruitment and student-athlete development.
Encompassing the 120,000 SF, the two-story facility includes a state-of-the-art weight room, sports medicine and hydrotherapy spaces, a dining area and fueling station, custom locker and equipment rooms, position-specific meeting rooms, a full team auditorium, coach and operations offices, academic and study spaces, and a student-athlete lounge.
An additional 30,000sf is dedicated to new premium seating options for the stadium. The club lounge and suites replace existing seats and create a new viewing experience for end-zone patrons. Lastly, a new rooftop terrace gives exceptional views of the stadium and connects the North and South upper seating bowls
My contributions to the UH Football Operations Center consisted of RCP coordination with mechanical, electrical, and structural consultants, locker room design, fuel station layout and food service coordination, players' and coaches' space design, full documentation from SD-CD, rendering visualization, and CA work doing punch-list items.
